It is an honor and a privilege to be the Principal at Rafaela T. Barrera Elementary, the school that stands for excellence and high student achievement! Students, staff, administrators and parents are all eager to start this new school year, which promises to bring many unique and memorable educational experiences for all. I am also fortunate to have an experienced and dedicated team, which has brought our school to its present stature. Together we intend to build on this strong foundation and raise the standards to new heights!
We continue to stand strong and promise to work collaboratively to ensure that all students will reach their highest potential, meeting all academic goals and becoming life-long learners.
May our RTB Eagles continue soaring to new heights and may you all have a blessed school year 2026-2027!

Mission Statement
The Mission of Rafaela T. Barrera Elementary is to provide a safe, positive, and challenging environment which will promote a desire for life-long learning and will meet the intellectual, physical, social, and emotional needs of each child. This will be accomplished through a team effort of parental, teacher, administrative, and community support and will ensure that all students reach their full potential as productive members of society.
